Whether it is a new build or a refurbishments project, Garran Lockers have developed an extensive experience of being able to support the construction industry with their storage and changing needs, on time and within the budget.
Lockers for the construction industry
The construction industry experienced a significant growth in the last few years. With high-value projects and long lead times, saving time and money is vital. Each time a new construction project is started, the contractor in charge sets up temporary or permanent facilities that act as the main office for the project workers during the life of the project.
Concerns for safety, security and health and safety regulation are of great importance. Storage facility is a fundamental element of the new premises that need to provide practical and easy to access lockers and changing areas and comply with a number of building regulations.
Meeting the storage needs
Whether it is a new build or a refurbishment project, Garran Lockers have developed an extensive experience of being able to support the construction industry with their storage and changing areas needs, on time and within budget.
Garran Lockers have worked with several industry’s biggest brands including Skanska, Shepherds and Morgan Ashurst to custom-build the specific storage lockers that meet their exact requirements. Having amassed a great deal of knowledge of the construction industry over many years, Garran’s lockers design is known for its practicality, its ease of access, its quality and reliability, irrespective of the size and other restrictions of the changing area or storage area concerned.
Building For School (BFS) initiative
Under the BFS program, Garran Lockers worked with Skanska to design and implement the storage and changing facilities to the first newly built school, the Bristol Brunel Academy (over 1000 pupils), opened in September 2007, on time and budget.
This project was part of the Bristol’s first wave of £119m BSF investment and has seen further 4 secondary schools rebuilt. Satisfied with Garrans’ professionalism, Skanska introduced the Garran's lockers to the two more newly built schools: Brislington Enterprise College (September 2008) and Bristol Metropolitan College.
